Thunderbird Roar

Finally, finally, we are getting some beautiful weather around here. Today was no exception. Paige had her last day of preschool and they celebrated with water day. The teachers put out a sprinkler, kiddie pool, bubbles, etc. for the kids. She had a blast and said it was her favorite part of the day.

After picking her up we headed to a park just north of us to watch the Thunderbird show. Today was Air Force Academy graduation and they always have a spectacular air show at the end. We met some of our friends at the park for a picnic and an afternoon of play. It was so nice we spent most of the day.

Right now the kids are enjoying their movie. Well, it is Movie Wednesday after all. A perfect way to end the day.

Lettuce wraps for dinner and then off to swim team practice. I think we will all sleep well tonight!

You are off with a bang on this summer vacation thing! I think I'm gonna steal the movie night idea. Do you rent one as a special treat or just watch something you have?

I rented one this time to get them excited but I think that I will mix it up with some we have at home. How are you feeling? That sweet baby will be here soon! Loved your blog post. Very sweet. It is amazing how a new little one just fits.

Jen I Looove the mural idea! How creative! Have fun with all your kiddos activities! I don't know how you do it. Also - thanks so much for the words of encouragement last week! It was a rough few days but I talked to my minister and think it actually helped me define my own faith even more clearly...which was a good thing :)
